X-Ray Detectable O-rings
X-Ray Detectable O-rings are specially developed sealing components designed for industries where contamination prevention and product safety are of paramount importance. Unlike conventional elastomer seals, these O-rings are compounded with detectable additives, allowing them to be identified by X-ray inspection systems and reducing the risk of product recalls caused by seal fragments entering the production process.
X-Ray detectable O-rings are widely used in food processing, dairy production, beverage filling, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology equipment, and cosmetic processing systems where strict hygiene standards must be maintained.

1. Material Composition:
EPDM-The most commonly used material for food and pharmaceutical applications.
Silicone VMQ-Ideal for ultra-clean applications.
FKM-Suitable for aggressive media.
2. Detection Capability:
1)Excellent X-Ray Detectability
The specially formulated compounds enable the O-rings to be reliably detected by modern X-ray inspection systems, helping identify broken or detached sealing fragments during production.
2)Optional Metal Detectable Capability
Besides X-ray detectable compounds, metal detectable formulations containing stainless steel additives can also be supplied for applications equipped with metal detectors.

4. Wide Temperature Range

EPDM: -50°C to +150°C
Silicone: -60°C to +220°C

HNBR: -40°C to +150°C

Suitable for hygienic sealing applications requiring smooth surfaces, low extractables and excellent aging resistance.
