Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber  (HNBR)

Hydrogenated nitrile rubber (Hydrogenate Nitrile) is a nitrile rubber that has been hydrogenated to remove part of the double chain. After hydrogenation, its temperature resistance and weather resistance are much higher than that of general nitrile rubber, and its oil resistance is similar to general nitrile rubber. The general operating temperature range is -25~150 ℃.

advantage:

shortcoming:

· Not recommended for use in alcohol, ester or aromatic solutions.

The material in the formation of the v-ring seal

The materials of V-rings are most commonly nitrile rubber and neoprene, natural rubber is used for sealing water and air, and butyl rubber is used for non-combustible hydraulic oil and phosphate ester hydraulic oil. Chlorine rubber is used in a variety of chemicals and high temperatures. When abrasion resistance is required, urethane rubber is used. Laminated rubber is also a common material for V-rings, which is characterized by increasing the stiffness and strength of the sealing ring, preventing the occurrence of rubber extrusion and gap bite, making it suitable for high pressure. At the same time, in the process of wear, the rubber wears before the fabric, and when the contact pressure is large, the wear of the entire sealing surface tends to be uniform, and the friction does not change significantly. However, the lip of the interlayer rubber sealing ring is easy to scrape off the oil film on the sliding surface, so the lubricity is relatively poor. The pressure ring and the support ring are generally made of hard tape, and the support ring is sometimes pressed with hard plastic.
