Three important properties of silicone rubber bellows
Ring stiffness
Ring stiffness represents the ability of a pipe to resist external pressure. The greater the value of KN/m2, the greater the ring stiffness, the greater the external pressure resistance of the pipeline, and the thicker the wall thickness of the corresponding pipeline.
impact resistance
Using the drop weight impact method, at 0±1°C, the actual impact rate (TIR) is less than 10% (it can be understood that 10 is allowed to be 1, but it is not exactly the same).
The factors that affect impact resistance are similar to those that affect ring stiffness.
Ring flexibility
Flexibility test equipment for circular rings has the same stiffness as the ring, but with greater compression. When the vertical outer diameter is deformed to 30% of the original outer diameter, unload the specimen immediately, and observe whether the inner wall of the specimen is smooth, whether there is reverse bending, whether it is broken, and whether the two walls are separated.
The elasticity of the ring reflects the resistance of the pipe to deformation.
In addition to ring stiffness, ring flexibility and impact resistance, the national standard also requires creep ratio (reflecting the creep of the corrugated pipe after deformation under the action of external force, affecting the service life of the product) and oven test (reflecting the inner and outer walls of the double-wall corrugated pipe) whether the bond strength is sufficient and the stability of the structure).
